Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been shooting?

I have been shooting for over 7 years, professionally for 5. I’ve both film and digital experience and while I primarily shoot digital format images these days it is not uncommon for me to whip out a vintage Polaroid camera in session for a few film shots.

Do you shoot TF?

No; my team and I put hours, weeks and sometimes months into planning our photoshoots and with the cost of styling materials, props, wardrobe and travel we simply cannot shoot TF. This is how I make my living and someone always pays, whether it is the model or third party client. The ONLY *TF exceptions are as follows… We accept Trade projects on a limited basis in exchange for places to stay when traveling, airfare, or studio space.

I am new to modeling; can you help me build my portfolio?

Of course! My team and I have built our business around helping new models break into the fashion, pinup and alternative modeling industry. We can help you set up a diverse and well rounded portfolio that will showcase your abilities as a model and really spotlight your talents to other professionals in the industry.

Can you shoot my content sets for SuicideGirls.com, GodsGirls.com, Zivity.com, ect.?

Content sets by nature require HOURS and sometimes days and weeks of retouch and are not guaranteed TF*, as a model I worked with several sites and photographers whom delivered poorly retouched and half attempted sets; as such I put a tremendous effort into making sure you never have to feel the way I did upon seeing your content images. Please email me to inquire towards my Content Rates and packages. At this time I am not shooting any sets for GodsGirls.com or SuicideGirls.com.

You’re in the PNW, can I book you in my area?

With enough notice we are available for bookings anywhere in the state of WA; for out of state bookings at least 2 months advance booking is required.

How do I get in on all of your awesome, huge collaborations?!

A lot of factors play into which models are cast for creative collaborations. They are often passion projects and sometimes comission editorials that involve A LOT of planning and work. The best thing you can do is book a shoot and ask what we have coming up!

What can I expect at my photoshoot?

You can expect us to arrive on time if not earlier. Hair and makeup will be started upon discussing a shoot plan at the beginning. Hair and makeup takes between 1 to 4 hours depending on the project, actual shooting time can range from 15 minutes to an hour. While I am a quick shot, it takes time to create perfection and as such is all in the details my stlists take their time transforming you into the character you will be bringing to life in your images. We are professionals but like to have fun, as such the environment will be relaxed so that you as a model feel comfortable and at ease while being able to take home a full experience along with your images!

What if I didnt include wardrobe rental in my booking and dont have anything to shoot in?

PLEASE visit our Shoot Prep Guidelines page before your shoot. There are a lot of very useful tips for preparing for your shoot there. If you do not show up with wardrobe to shoot in then we will only be able to shoot beauty portraits with you.

Can I bring an escort?

Absolutely, it is imperative that you feel comfortable and safe at your photoshoot. Escorts are ALWAYS welcome however please stress to them that while on set it is proper etiquette not to be a distraction, not to touch any of my or my stylists equipment and of course – not to partake in any illegal activities. We want you to be safe while remaining safe ourselves!

What if Ive sent my deposit and need to cancel my shoot?

Life happens and sometimes it gets in the way of a great photoshoot - we completely understand! Your deposit is due upon booking and serves to hold your time slot in our schedule as well as help us procure any wardrobe, props or special styling tools we will need for YOUR shoot. As such, should you need to cancel your deposit is fully refundable as long as you cancel at least two weeks before your shoot! If you need to cancel within the two week period leading up to your shoot your deposit will be kept and applied to a rescheduled shoot at a date and time of your choosing.

When are the rest of my shoot fee's due?

After sending your deposit the remainder of your shoot costs are due at the photoshoot. We do not accept personal checks so please plan ahead and bring cash.

How long will it take you to get me my photos?

Upon request you will receive proofs of ALL the images from our shoot via email within one week so that you can choose which final images youd like to have edited. Turn around time on final images is between 3 to 5 weeks if not sooner. You will not receive ALL of your images on disk, only the final edits!

Can I use your photos on my website/myspace/facebook/tumblr/ect. ?

Of course! That’s what they are for, isn’t it?! At your shoot a general release form will be given to you to be signed before leaving. This release form simply states that you will not sell or distribute the images we create together without my written consent – and vice versa! You may use the web sized, watermarked version of the images on any social networking or portfolio website.
